So i find out tomorrow if i will have a steady job at a warehouse. This will provide 2 benefits, the first being a steady income which will allow me to buy new games for obvious gaming enjoyment, as well as blogging purposes and i will be able to afford rent and buy food. And the second, quite possibly the most important, is that the job is very physical. Which in turn means i will be "Exercising?"
Been listening to tons of Dubstep lately since I'm working on a new CoD MW2 montage, which i mentioned in my last post. I generally use dubstep since it sounds amazing and its really easy to sync up the clips with the music. Here's a really awesome song i found a few days ago, and i already can't get enough of it.

Finaltage in the Works.. New Commentary soon?
Whats up guys, haven't made a post in some time.
But the title pretty much speaks for itself, I'm working on my final MW2 montage, don't expect it to be released anytime soon, but it should be pretty epic.
I have some ideas for a dual commentary, but that's still being sorted out as i have no clue how to record the skype calls, if anyone knows a program to do so leave a comment :D
I'm going to continue the song of the week, this week featuring an up and coming new artist, who is actually a friend of mine in real life. He makes pretty sick remixes, check out his channel and this song he made.

Song of the Day/Week :: Freestylers - Cracks [Flux Pavilion Remix]
Been listening to a lot of dubstep.fm lately, mainly their podcasts. I heard this song called Freestylers - Cracks [Flux Pavilion Remix]. Think it might be my new favorite song of the week.
Maybe I'll start doing a video or song of the week or something along those lines.
Anyhoot, just a quick update i thought i would share with anyone who reads this.
In other news, I'm currently working on my 3rd real Modern Warfare 2 Montage. I think it will be my last one for that game, with Black Ops just around the corner, I'd like to start getting some stuff for that game done up, as well as Halo Reach. Will be nice that i wont have to record every game seeing as both titles are coming with a theater mode that was more common with the Halo franchise.

First Blog
I guess I'll start off by introducing myself. My name is Derek, I'm 22 and i enjoy long walks on the beach? But pretty much all my friends including some of my relative (especially my mom) all call me Derkka. The way i got that nickname is not from Team America as alot of people will reference (Derkka Derkka Mohhamid Jihad) . It was actually a good friend of mine when we were at another friends birthday party. We were both pretty sloshed at the time and he had a hard time saying my name, as if its hard to say in the first place, and instead of saying Derek, it came out as Derkka.
I consider myself an avid gamer of both PC games, but lately been playing a lot of console games on the Xbox 360 (Derkka88 is my GT). And this is one of my main reasons for the blog, I have my own youtube channel and i currently host a live stream on Justin.tv whenever i feel i want to do a live stream. I figured this could be a more personal way of connecting with more people since I haven't figured out how to do the whole twitter thing nor will i ever really try and do it.
